Hopefully! Life's been crazy, and while I wouldn't have it any other way, it's nice to finally have some downtime READ: time for some art! I've finished two things, TWO, in the past year, and I plan on posting them both soon. Also doing that thing where I spend my life savings on shoes and draw feverishly on them the first thing that comes to my mind. And, for some extra flare, THIS time I bought...heels! So I've having things surgically done to my mouth tomorrow, and word has it I'll want to be heavily medicated for a few days following the procedure. Yes, I DO consider drug-induced relaxtion downtime. ;) Anyway, let's see what all this eng

So...life's been crazy, and it doesn't look like it's going to settle down any before graduation. Just wanted to write something brief to let everyone know that I AM alive and working on some art, though it's been mostly shoes. I made a pair for a project for my French class, and that started a whole chain of commissions. So I'll have some of them to post later tonight, I guess. Other than that, most art has been put on hold for the moment, muchas gracias a oil paint in my eye Thursday night. I ended up scratching my cornea trying to get it all out and have been blind ever since. ;)

It's becoming increaingly more difficult to make it to the end of the year, especially now that I've officially decided where I'm going. Yep, Georgetown U. it is, and I couldn't be more thrilled. It's taken such a long time to get to this point, but all that bitching and moaning and euro and physics and calc and first semester of 11th grade finally paid off. And now I'm done. I just want to sit in my bed and draw and watch Batman Begins in anticipation for Dark Knight (July 18th, be there!).
